The Milk Truck Is Back

            The Milk Truck Is Back
I had to show the back of the famous car, The Milk Truck
created by Dan Woods in 1965 at the age of 18.It made a big
impact that Big Daddy Ed Roth had Dan Woods work for him
    ten years in Roth Studios.
In August 1965 The Milk originally in white made the front
   cover of Rod And Custom.
Then Bob Reisner bought it.By 1969 it was repainted purple
and white. The Milk Truck was so popular, that Eldon produced
a realistic model of it under the  Popular Hot Rodding Series.
This series included the following customs:Pink Panthermobile,
   Invader,Out House Rod,Sand Dragon,and Milk Truck.
It wasn't until 2010 after the restoration Dave Shutten
who won Builder of The Year, for restoring both The Milk Truck,
also 1970s Ice Truck, that the vehicles were ready for car shows.
Then Barret-Jackson auction off the Milk Truck in 2013 of
   January. The engine '57 Pontiac 347 CID,Isky cam,Craigar
6-71 blower and blower belt,Holms valve covers, chrome four
holed injector scoop, chrome headers, the purple engine does
match the purple pin striped frame.Craigar SS Diamond Five
Spoke Mags, and Good Year tires. All front and rear chrome
   suspension,and axles.The back the hubs,are painted purple
in the middle. Both front and back have chrome coils springs.
Cool brass Model T Radiator shell, and Model T brass lights.
It is nice, that the new ownly freely, shows the restored public
at car shows, along with this famous Big Daddy Orbitron, built
Ed Roth, and restored to it's former glory in candy blue and pearl
blue pin striping.Big Daddy Ed Roth ,would have been proud to
see his ugly duckling turn back into a swan this restored custom
by Jimmy Z,who has the right to build Roth Customs.
